IU35 Europe Voices: Ted Hu and Amy Nordrum welcome Innovators Under 35 back to Europe

Innovators Under 35 Europe is back for 2027. Hear from the MIT Technology Review team behind the program as they invite Europe’s next generation of innovators to step forward. Ted Hu, Senior Manager of Licensing, and Amy Nordrum, Executive Editor at MIT Technology Review, help lead the Innovators Under 35 program, identifying and celebrating young researchers, scientists and entrepreneurs whose work has the potential to shape the future. After its last European edition in 2023, MIT Technology Review’s Innovators Under 35 Europe returns in 2027, opening a new search for outstanding young talent across the continent. For more than two decades, Innovators Under 35 has recognized individuals pushing the boundaries of science and technology. But as Ted Hu and Amy Nordrum explain, the program is about more than technological breakthroughs. It is about the people behind them and their ability to transform how society lives, works and evolves. From healthcare and education to business and everyday life, the 2027 edition will spotlight a new generation of innovators developing solutions to real-world challenges. And the invitation is open to everyone. Nominations are free, take just a few minutes, and self-nominations are encouraged. In this edition of IU35 Voices, Ted and Amy share their excitement about the program’s return to Europe and explain why identifying the next generation of pioneers matters.
